SAP Business One Makes Data Easy to Use

In today's business world, there's no debate that companies need easy and quick access to their data in their business systems. SAP Business One was built from the ground up with "data accessibility" in mind. From the Drill Down tools to Drag & Relate, SAP Business One has a multitude of tools to help you capture, locate, and report on data and information when and where you need it.

Drill Down - SAP Business One's drill down feature is one of the single most useful features in the system. When on a document, you can "drill" to the customer file or "drill" to the items sold to the customer. From a customer's account balance window, you can "drill" to the actual open Invoices to view them. See it in action below:

Base/Target Document Linkage - In SAP Business One, you can base documents on previously added documents, creating a base/target document linkage. For example, a sales rep might start with a Sales Quote, then copy it to a Sales Order when the customer actually places the order, then copy the Sales Order to a Packing Slip, and then finally to an Invoice. The system tracks this linkage, so from any document, you can see the documents it's based on, as well as the target documents that are based on it. See it in action below:

Right+Click Menu: Applied Transactions - SAP Business One is enabled with a very useful Right+Click contextual menu. For example, if viewing a paid Invoice, a user can right+click and "View Applied Transactions" to see the payments that have been applied and reconciled to the Invoice.
