Sales Tax Changes for Central California
Sales and Use Tax changes for two Central California tax codes are changing on April 1, 2010. The notification of the sales and use tax increase comes from the California State Board of Equalization, and go into effect on April 1st, 2010.

Changing Tax Rates in SAP Business One
While this sales tax change affects all businesses in these tax jurisdictions, Orchestra takes great care to provide this information to our clients running SAP Business One.
To change the tax rate in SAP Business One, follow these instructions:
1. Go to Main Menu > Administration > Setup > Financials > Tax > Jurisdictions
2. Select the jurisdiction that is changing, in this case the "city" jurisdiction
3. Locate the jurisdiction and change the rate and set the effectivity date to 4/1/10
4. Save
Do the same for each jurisdiction that needs to be changed.
